“For me, off-road has its own enjoyment. The skill is going to be tested to face with the extreme field which must be supported by the character of engine. It is not just relying on feeling. Well technical understanding is absolutely needed,” explained by this graduated student of Unkris Jakarta.

This alumnus of Cheetah Off-road, Java Challenge of Indonesia 2004 feels the positive advantage by seriously getting into the off-road activity from zero. Everything gives different color into the life of the Ex General Secretary of Indonesian Off-road Federation (IOF).

For the sake of satisfying his adventuring desire, Jaya joined into the 4x4 Fun. This off-roader community with 100 members can become as the facility to have acticity. It does not need to wait for an event, every time, the small exercise on the natural opened space can be had.

His nearness with the off-roader community has given spirit for this man, whose age is 40 year, to build the business of Downes Dirtbikes Shop. This outlet of parts and accessories of off-road in South Jakarta is as well as made as the place for socializing among the off-raoders.

The habit on driving the off-road Jeep has opened his views about the need of training for them whom get enthusiastic with this off-road activity. Together with Yuma Wiranatakusumah and other partners, the ORD Training Centre has been built. This place has become the training centre locating on the natural opened space for the club community as well as the company employee. More than that, Jaya wrote his experience on a book. It is based on the fact that off-road is fast developing while the institution that is specially teaching about off-road is minim, so almost of the off-roaders get knowledge by their own ways.

By the means of this book can become one of the off-roader beginner’s manual as well as the common people. “Here is the advantage of hobby that is seriously got into, the experience that is got can be shared and applied by other people,” explained by Jaya.

Truly, all of this has not been satisfying him. His hope, the friendship among the off-roaders with 4 tires as well as 2 tires can be protected together. “Obviously, the taste and the hobby are the same. I hope that IOF can protect this motor off-road community. That is my desire,” expressed strictly by him.
