Inspection, Durable Part Optimal Performance: To Know Engine Management System Haltech

Haltech is design as water resistant as long as it was disappeared under the water. It is better to repackage the ECU of Haltech if the vehicle is going to be used as adventure off-road application.

Try to not locate it near by the ignition system because there will be firewall/hitching effect that can cause storing and ECU performance is not stable. Do not force to starter the engine if the condition of dry storage battery or voltage is drop. On this condition, the computer (ECU) can be damaged. Check the top of storage battery if it is loosed, go immediately to tighten the bolt.Forcing to turn on the engine when the condition of the top of storage battery is loosed will quickly cause the top of storage battery to beheat, the electricity that is produced is not stable and the Haltech computerization system is going to be damaged.

Thelast thing is to make sure when welding the chassis or others, although the engine is off, the cable socket connecting the Haltech ECU with the storage battery is not set on.

So does the application of spark plug should be also changed with the resistor model and the kind of wine (copper) not solid core to prevent the storing happened. The external effect (installer) is more than the internal effect to cause trouble.

If your Jeep’s configuration engine is still relying on the conventional fuel supplier system (carburetor) and modifying intake by creating the hole of injector included the tank, it will be better to use the hi-pressure connector. The application of absolute injection system and the connector of fuel supplier must be able to endure the pressure amount 50 psi.

Other advantage is the endurance of engine is far better. Certainly, it helps to give value added to the selling price of the vehicle. However, to lengthen the using time of Haltech system management, it very depends on to the maintenance and the treatment from the owner of thevehicle.
